Weichai Lovol is once again approved for the National Key R&D Program

Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the list of key special projects for the 2024 National Key R&D Program "Key Technologies and Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Equipment for Factory Agriculture". The project led by Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture, "Intelligent Equipment Creation and Intelligent System Integration Application for Large Area Yield Improvement of Grain and Oil Crops", has been approved. Since the 14th Five Year Plan, Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture has led and hosted 4 projects and participated in more than 10 national key research and development programs.

The project is led by Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture and jointly participated by Jilin University, Nanjing Agricultural Machinery Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other units. It focuses on the national grain and oil crop large-scale yield improvement project, and conducts research on the mechanism of integrating good seeds and good methods in good fields to increase yield, the mechanism of collaborative increase and loss reduction of agricultural machinery operations, and the application mode of grain and oil crop yield improvement. The key is to solve the problem of limited capacity improvement caused by insufficient collaboration of grain and oil crop operation equipment systems, and to focus on building an application mode of deep integration and efficiency improvement of agricultural machinery, agronomy, and information, as well as yield improvement.
