YTO's Going Global 'Accelerates Again
On May 29th, an international freight train loaded with 143 YTO tractors departed from Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port in China and will be transported to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, through a "railway+sea" cross Caspian multimodal transport mode. This delivery relies on the internal business collaboration advantages of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, and all parties work together and make joint efforts. Not only is it the first time that YTO tractors have been exported to Azerbaijan through the Nantong Cross Caspian Railway Line, but it also marks the official entry into the mass delivery stage of the first cooperation project between China First Tractor and Sumeda in the Transcaucasian market.

In recent years, China Yituo has accelerated its internationalization layout, continuously deepened its collaboration and linkage with sister units within the State Machinery Industry Corporation, and promoted the "going global" of high-end agricultural machinery and equipment manufactured by State Machinery Industry Corporation, achieving significant results in joint overseas expansion. In 2025, China's Yituo export sales will cross the 10000 unit mark for the first time, with strong growth momentum. At present, the layout of China's five major overseas key regions has basically taken shape and is gradually becoming an important participant in the world agricultural machinery market.


In order to further expand the Azerbaijani market, China Yituo reached a deep cooperation agreement with Sumeda in March 2026. Both sides will leverage their respective strengths, with China Yituo providing high-quality tractor machines, and Sumeda relying on mature overseas channels to connect with local distributors, collaborate and complement each other's advantages, and jointly tap into the potential of the agricultural machinery market in Azerbaijan. The first cooperation order between the two parties has a total of 263 YTO tractors, including popular models such as NMF554X and NF754 that are highly favored by farmers in Azerbaijan. To ensure delivery efficiency, the project adopts a batch transportation plan, and 143 complete machines were launched first, which is a landmark node for the cooperation between the two parties.

In addition, the entire shipment relies on the Nantong Road Cross Caspian Sea Special Line built by Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port, which crosses the Caspian Sea through railway exit and sea rail intermodal transportation, with a mature and strong guarantee throughout the entire process. The opening of this new international logistics channel has greatly optimized the transportation path from Luoyang to Azerbaijan, effectively shortened the transportation cycle, reduced logistics costs, and provided solid support for the stable export of a large number of agricultural machinery products. Azerbaijan, as an important node country in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", has sustained growth in demand for agricultural mechanization and broad market potential. This cooperation is not only an important achievement for YTO and Sumeida to deepen their collaboration and give play to their respective resource advantages, but also a positive practice for both sides to jointly serve the national "the Belt and Road" initiative and promote China's agricultural machinery and equipment "going global".
