Telling the Story of Craftsmen and Showing the Style of Model Workers

On March 29th, at the 2023 National Machinery Metallurgy Building Materials System "Telling Craftsman Stories Exhibition Model Worker Style" themed event, Xue Zhifei, a national model worker, senior engineer and tractor manufacturing expert of China Yituo, and deputy general manager of Datuo Company, said in an interview.

This theme activity invited eight narrators from the national machinery, metallurgy and building materials system to share the touching stories of eight model worker and craftsman representatives who worked hard, studied deeply, innovated bravely, took the lead, and constantly improved their technical skills to promote the high-quality development of their enterprises.
The seven model workers and craftsmen in the story also came to the event site to share their own psychological journey.
Sun Fangqi, the narrator of China Yituo, shares the story of Xue Zhifei's relentless pursuit of Chinese precision and his ingenuity in forging important weapons for a great country. After graduating from university, Xue Zhifei entered China Yituo. From his initial research on Fiat technology to the development of Dongfanghong large wheel trailers, and then to the research and development of Dongfanghong power shifting, continuously variable transmission, and unmanned tractors, he and his team members solved more than 30 major technical problems, breaking the monopoly of foreign agricultural machinery giants in the high-end agricultural machinery market in China, and making outstanding contributions to China's agricultural modernization.

At the event site, Zou Zhen, secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and member of the Party Leadership Group, made a speech and announced the opening of the event. Zhou Hongxia, vice chairman of the Henan Federation of Trade Unions and member of the Party Leadership Group, Yang Xiao, deputy secretary of the Luoyang Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, Su Wensheng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of YTO Group and deputy general manager of YTO Group, delivered speeches respectively.   We should vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsmanship, and actively create a social trend of labor glory and a dedication to excellence.

The theme activity of "Telling Craftsmen's Stories and Exhibition of Model Workers' Style" is organized by the China Machinery, Metallurgy and Building Materials Union, organized by China Yituo, and co organized by the China Machinery, Metallurgy and Building Materials Workers' Technical Association, Henan Machinery, Metallurgy and Building Materials Union, and Luoyang Federation of Trade Unions.
It is reported that the theme activity of "Telling Craftsman Stories and Exhibition of Model Workers' Style" in the national mechanical metallurgy building materials system has been held for six consecutive sessions since 2017, which has played a great promoting role in promoting the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsmanship.
