How to discharge water correctly
When will the water be discharged after shutdown?
After the engine works, due to the low temperature of the external environment, the cooling water should be drained 15 minutes after the engine is shut down when the water temperature drops, but not immediately. Otherwise, some parts of the diesel engine will be deformed due to the excessive temperature difference between the body and the external environment, thus affecting the engine performance (such as cylinder head deformation and other problems).
II. Never leave the water drain switch open
After opening the drain switch, pay attention to the specific condition of the water flow to see whether the water flow is smooth and whether there is a phenomenon that the water flow becomes smaller or faster or slower. If these conditions occur, it means that the cooling water contains impurities and blocks the normal flow of water. At this time, it is better to remove the drain switch to let the cooling water flow out of the machine body directly. If the water flow is still not smooth, it shall be dredged with hard and slender steel objects such as iron wire until the water flow is smooth.
Stopping running water at the third switch does not mean that the water is completely discharged
When the cooling water stops flowing out, start the engine and run at idle speed for 30 seconds to make the cooling water flow out. At this time, the remaining cooling water that is not easy to flow out will flow out due to the vibration of the engine, which can prevent the cylinder head water block from freezing and the cooling water flow into the oil shell in the future.

At the same time, the operator should also note that if the water drain switch is not removed, the water drain switch should be in the open state after the water drain is completed, so as to prevent the remaining cooling water from flowing out of the corresponding parts of the engine and causing unnecessary losses due to various reasons.
V. The water tank cap must remain open
When draining the water in the water tank, the water tank cover must be unscrewed first, and then the water tank drain valve must be opened. When draining, the water tank cover must be kept open to prevent the water from being dirty.
